“Well My young brother and best friend is gone,” Nick Pistonewrote on Facebook. “I’m broken hearted and don’t know if I’ll ever get over this. I miss you Chase already and I hope you are you are [sic] in a better place. I love you and I miss you so much already!!!!!!!”
In a separate post on Nick’s Facebook page, he reposted an update from the verified Legends Nation Facebook page, announcing the race car driver’s death.
“Sad News: Chase Pistone, a fixture in motorsports and especially Legend Car racing, has passed away, Legends Nation confirmed with his brothers, Nick and Tom,” the statement read.
“Chase was not only a wheelman in Legends and Late Models, but his Chase Pistone Inc. Legends team was a force to be reckoned with every time they showed up at a track, and they usually walked away with the winner’s trophy,” the statement added.

While no cause of death was immediately made clear, Nick along with their brother, Tom, requested Legends Nation post the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which is 988 on a phone or text.

Born August 20, 1983, Chase was the grandson of NASCAR legend Tom “Tiger” Pistone.
Chase — who began racing at age 6 — competed in the NASCAR Xfinity, Truck, and ARCA Series and was also a car builder of Legends Cars and Super Late Models.
