President Donald Trump Says He Wants to ‘Get to Heaven’ in Email Begging Supporters for Donations
President Donald Trump is shooting off more emails.
According to the Archive of Political Emails, the 79-year-old president fired off another email to his supporters on Sunday, January 25, just before 8 p.m. with the subject: “I want to try and get to Heaven.”
In the email, sent less than 10 months before the midterm elections, the Apprentice alum begged for more donations to ensure the “MAGA movement” stays strong and said this was his calling after surviving an assassination attempt before he was reelected president.
“I came millimeters from death when that bullet pierced through my skin,” he wrote, referring to the incident that took place on July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania.
“My triumphant return to the White House was never supposed to happen!” he said. “But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
After listing what he feels he accomplished as the leader of the American people, Trump said, “I have no other choice but to answer the Call to Duty, but I can’t do it alone.”
He falsely claimed yet again that the 2020 presidential election, which he lost to Joe Biden, was “rigged” and said that he won the most recent election “in a HISTORIC landslide.” However, he added: “THAT DOESN’T MEAN WE CAN TAKE OUR FOOT OFF THE GAS!”
He claimed, “The Radical Left Lunatics want to STOP MAGA, but we’re not going to let them NO MATTER WHAT.”
Trump wrote that “our movement, the beautiful MAGA movement, is powered by YOU,” adding: “That’s why I’ve launched a 24 HOUR TRUMP FUNDRAISING BLITZ, and I’m asking everyone to chip in $15 to make it one for the record books!”
Trump’s latest email asking for donations comes after the president suggested that the country should call off its upcoming midterm elections, though White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed he was only “joking.”
In recent days, the president and his administration have come under fire for tragic incidents involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including the deaths of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.
