President Donald Trump spoke out following the murder of Minnesota resident Alex Pretti, who was gunned down by ICE in Minneapolis.
“We’re looking, we’re reviewing everything and will come out with a determination,” Trump, 79, claimed in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. “I don’t like any shooting. I don’t like it,”
“But I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also,” Trump added. “That doesn’t play good either.”

According to the White House, Pretti “approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.” While there is no video evidence to support their stance, the administration alleged that Pretti “attacked” immigration officers.
Trump called Pretti’s firearm “dangerous and unpredictable,” adding, “It’s a gun that goes off when people don’t know it.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been on the ground in Minneapolis and St. Paul for weeks, resulting in the deaths of two citizens: Pretti and Renee Good. Tensions continue to rise as thousands and Minnesotans take to the streets every day in protest.
“At some point we will leave. We’ve done, they’ve done a phenomenal job,” Trump told the Wall Street Journal. “We’ll leave a different group of people there for the financial fraud.”
