Kim Kardashian Supports Daughter North West at Recording Studio Following ‘Piercing on My Hand’ Song

Kim Kardashian and daughter North West recently paid a visit to the recording studio.

On Monday, March 2, the Skims founder, 45, was spotted leaving a nighttime recording session in Los Angeles with North, 12, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail. 

The reality TV star kept her look casual, donning a black trench coat and wearing her hair in a bun. Meanwhile, the tween sported a black sweatshirt and matching sweatpants and styled her look with large shades. Instead of her signature blue hair, North’s hair was brown, and she pulled it back into a ponytail.

After the session, the mother-daughter duo got into a silver SUV and left, per the Daily Mail.

Rolling Stone reported last month that North signed with independent music company Gamma. North’s dad, Kanye West, is also working with Gamma, inking a deal for his upcoming album, Bully, which is set to drop on March 20, per the outlet.

As Globe previously reported, North released her song “Piercing on My Hand” in February, in which she raps about “skipping school” and wanting “more piercings and tats.” The track was reportedly released through Gamma, and the “Gold Digger” hitmaker produced it, according to Rolling Stone.

In January, the reality TV star appeared on sister Khloé Kardashian‘s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast and discussed North’s music career, explaining, “At home, she’ll do an eight-hour music studio session where she’s producing and writing.” Kim also shared that she’ll have North, who is homeschooled, “writing out all of her lyrics” for spelling tests.
