Watching the throne!
Rumors are swirling that Kim Kardashian isn’t happy that her 12-year-old daughter, North West, is being used as a pawn in ex Kanye West’s comeback bid.
Per People, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper, 48, brought the pre-teen out on stage during his SoFi Stadium show in Inglewood, California, on Wednesday, April 1, to perform their collaborations, “Talking” and “Piercing on My Hand.”
“Kim is all for building up North’s career,” a source tells Globe. “She fully believes she’s got what it takes to be a full-on superstar, but she wants to do it in a considered way and with Kanye, that’s never an option. Everything with him is totally chaotic.”
It’s a “super delicate situation” though, notes the source.
“North is a total daddy’s girl and Kim doesn’t want to discourage that,” the source explains. “She thinks the bond they have is great. What worries her is Kanye’s volatility. She simply can’t trust that he will do what he promises.”

It likely doesn’t help that, according to Globe’s source, West is “one of the most hated men in the world” and “the optics of being associated with him are not good for anyone, even his own daughter.”
The controversial rapper, who has a history of making antisemitic comments, was set to headline the U.K.’s Wireless Festival this summer, but the event was ultimately canceled after several sponsors dropped out and West was denied entry into the country, per the BBC, “on the grounds that his presence would not be conducive to the public good.”
Still, there’s not much Kardashian, 45, can do to stop North from joining her father onstage again in the future, admits the source.
“North really wants it and once Kanye dangles an opportunity like this, if Kim steps in and blocks it, she’s going to be the villain and risk pushing North away,” the source reveals. “It’s a huge nightmare and Kim is having a hard time navigating it.”
