Jennifer Lopez Jealous of Ben Affleck’s ‘Perfect Ex-Wife’ Jennifer Garner (Exclusive)

Jennifer Garner is having a banner year — and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by Jennifer Lopez as she navigates a series of career setbacks.

“People talk about Jennifer like she’s some kind of superwoman, and it really gets under J.Lo’s skin,” a source tells Globe. “Unfortunately, she can’t just shrug it off because Jennifer really does have some kind of magic touch. It’s like there’s nothing she doesn’t excel at.”

The second season of Garner’s hit Apple TV+ show, The Last Thing He Told Me, premieres Friday, February 20 and her organic children’s food company, Once Upon a Farm, is set to go public with an estimated $764 million valuation.

“She’s going to make a fortune,” adds the source “It’s conceivable that she could hit billionaire status, which is very hard to stomach for J.Lo since she’s not been able to crack that yet herself even with all her many businesses over the years.”

Lopez, 56, canceled her 2024 This Is Me … Live tour amid reports of poor ticket sales and her latest film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, bombed at the box office.

The real issue, though, is their shared ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

“If it weren’t for him, Jennifer wouldn’t even be on J.Lo’s radar,” explains the source. “It’s not just that she’s his ‘perfect’ ex-wife. It’s also the state of their relationship now.”

As Globe previously reported, the former couple, both 53, split in 2015 but have remained on friendly terms as they coparent their three children, Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13.

Affleck even went as far as to call his divorce from Garner the “biggest regret” of his life in a 2020 interview with The New York Times.

“The fact that Ben still has so much affection for Jennifer and still wants to spend all kinds of time with her when he doesn’t have the same feelings towards J.Lo is incredibly painful,” the source admits.
