Eminem’s Ex-Wife Kim Mathers Is Unrecognizable in DUI Mugshot
Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Mathers is nearly unrecognizable in a newly-released mugshot from her DUI arrest in February.
The 51-year-old — who shares daughter Hailie, 30, with Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers) — had puffy eye bags and a stoic expression in the photo released by Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. Her blonde hair was cut short before the recent arrest.
On Monday, Kim pleaded no contest to driving under the influence and fleeing the scene after allegedly ramming her Range Rover into a parked truck while driving her son and his friends. According to TMZ, she allegedly fled the scene and was later seen by neighbors crashing into her garage door.
When law enforcement officers arrived at her home, she allegedly told them she had two margaritas from Chili’s before deciding to drive, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
Officers reportedly found an empty Crown Royal Apple alcohol mini bottle inside her vehicle.
“Driving under the influence is not a lapse in judgment—it is a deliberate decision that puts every person on the road at risk,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido in a statement, per New York Post. “We see the consequences far too often: lives lost, families shattered, and communities changed forever.”
Kim’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 17.
Kim and Eminem, 53, married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. They briefly reconciled and remarried in 2006, only to call it quits a few months later. Their volatile romance was the subject of several of the rapper’s songs.
