Eminem’s Ex-Wife Kim Scott Mathers Arrested Two Days After She Was Arraigned for Alleged Hit-and-Run

Eminem‘s ex-wife Kim Scott Mathers has reportedly been arrested again.

According to a Thursday, May 14 TMZ report, the “Lose Yourself” rapper’s ex, 51, allegedly hit a parked car two days after she pleaded no contest to charges connected to a separate car accident.

Chesterfield Township PD Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld Scott told the outlet that the incident took place near Detroit, Michigan, around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

Mathers was taken into custody and booked on a suspected DUI charge at Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Thursday morning, per TMZ. No injuries were reported.

On Monday, Mathers was arraigned and pleaded no contest to charges stemming from an alleged hit-and-run traffic incident that took place in February, according to a Facebook statement from the Macomb County Prosecutor’s page.

Per the Macomb County Prosecutor, Mathers’ vehicle struck a pickup truck that was parked on a street, pushing it approximately 50 feet. She was allegedly impaired at the time of the accident.

Mathers pleaded no contest to charges of operating while impaired and failing to report an accident. She is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on Wednesday, June 17, at 9 a.m.

“Driving under the influence is not a lapse in judgment — it is a deliberate decision that puts every person on the road at risk,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. “We see the consequences far too often: lives lost, families shattered, and communities changed forever. These tragedies are preventable.”

Eminem met his ex years ago when she had just gotten out of a youth home, he revealed to Rolling Stone in 2004.

“I was at a friend’s house, and his sister was friends with her, but she hadn’t seen Kim in a while ’cause she was in the youth home,” he recalled. “And I’m standing on the table with my shirt off, on top of their coffee table with a Kangol on, mocking the words to LL Cool J‘s “I’m Bad.” And I turn around and she’s at the door. Her friend hands her a cigarette.”

The two welcomed daughter Hailie in December 1995 and tied the knot four years later on June 14, 1999. Eminem also adopted her biological daughter, Stevie Laine, and niece Alaina Marie.

They called it quits two years later but married again on January 14, 2006; however, they split just a few months later, and their divorce was finalized by the end of that year.
