Former Home Improvement kid Zachery Ty Bryan has been sentenced to jail 16 months.
According to TMZ, Bryan struck a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to DUI following his arrest in 2024.
Bryan, 44, was nearly double the legal limit of 0.8 percent BAC. He admitted to an enhancement for driving with a BAC of 0.15 percent or higher but he was denied probation, per the outlet.
According to court documents seen by TMZ, Bryan — who is best known for starring in Home Improvement asBrad Taylor, one of Tim Allen’s character’s sons — had two prior DUI convictions.
The judge noted Bryan has credit for 57 days he has already served.
In December, Bryan’s fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, allegedly attempted to run him over with a truck while their three children were inside the vehicle.

According to Lane County Sheriff’s Office records, the incident occurred on November 29 in Eugene, Oregon, when both Bryan and Cartwright were reportedly involved in the altercation and placed under arrest, the Daily Mail reported.
Authorities said Bryan and Cartwright were traveling in a pickup truck with their three children – daughter Kennedy, and twins Parker and Sequoia – when Bryan, 44, got out of the vehicle and began walking.
