A screaming 11-year-old boy who was trapped and being burned alive in a flaming storage container was saved by a group of heroic dads who were drinking in a nearby rugby club beer garden.
Cops have arrested a 13-year-old boy, who they believe deliberately set the blaze, on suspicion of arson and attempted murder of the badly burned younger kid, who was reported in stable condition at Morrison Hospital in Swansea, Wales.
The shocking incident and incredible heroism of the men began when a mother heard terrified wailing coming from a storage container at the Trimsaran Rugby Club.

“That’s when she saw that the little boy was stuck. He had his head out of a very small window, but he couldn’t get out,” Lyn Davies, the club’s secretary, said via Daily Mail.
“There was absolutely no way that he could get out on his own. The fire was behind him, which blocked the door. The little open window was the only thing that was available to get him out.
“Without the help of being physically pulled up from above, he wouldn’t have been able to get out.
“He’d managed to pull his head out, but he was screaming and he was absolutely petrified. Obviously he was in pain because he was getting burned.”

The men, all fathers themselves, who also heard the screaming, came running, and ignoring the deadly flames, climbed on top of the burning container and managed to pull the burning boy out through the small window.
The youth “wouldn’t have lived” if not for the men, explains Davies. “There was absolutely no way that he could get out on his own.”
In addition to the boy’s injuries, the blaze, reported at 6:15 p.m. May 23, caused “extensive damage” to the container and the equipment inside, and also to a nearby roof before being extinguished by 7:56 p.m., say firefighters, per the report.
A spokesperson says Dyfed-Powys Police believe the blaze was “set deliberately” and the “13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson and attempted murder. [The boy has] been released on conditional bail, per the report.
