California Man Accused of Taking PTO Day to Drive 500 Miles and Fatally Stab Estranged Wife

A California man took a vacation day so he could murder his estranged wife.

Cold-blooded killer Kandynn Wilson, 34, drove 500 miles from Oakland to Spring Valley near San Diego to stalk and then ambush Ericka Wilson, 29, the mother of his child, San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan said in a news release.

On Jan. 27, 2022, Kandynn took the day off from work and drove to Ericka’s job, where he planned to ambush her in the parking lot, according to the news release.

But the incompetent killer drove to the wrong location, so he decided to go to Ericka’s apartment complex to lie in wait, even reclining his car seat.

Shortly before midnight, as Ericka pulled into the parking lot and as she got out of her car, Kandynn approached her wearing a ski mask. He began brutally assaulting her, stabbing her 23 times in the neck, according to the DA.

“A brave neighbor saw the attack, and chased the defendant with a baseball bat, forcing him to flee on foot and leave behind his vehicle, gloves and murder weapon,” the DA added.

Emergency personnel found Ericka bleeding out in the parking lot and were unable to save her.

The heartless butcher was arrested hours later.

The cutthroat killer was found guilty by a jury of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole plus one year.
