On Tuesday, May 5, which would have marked Tatiana’s 36th birthday, Jack posted an emotional Instagram video, sharing the comfort he finds in May and the sense that brighter days eventually return after difficult seasons.
“Hey everybody, it’s May,” he said while recording himself during a car ride. “I want to talk a little bit about the month of May because it’s a special month. It’s the month when things surprise you. When nature says, ‘It’s all gonna be OK.’ ”
The 33-year-old congressional candidate went on to describe the arrival of spring in New York City, speaking about sunshine, blooming flowers and the emotional lift that follows a long winter.

“May hits you like a bus with a little bit of something I like to call surprise and delight,” he added.
While Jack didn’t mention Tatiana in the clip, his emotional message coincided with his late sister’s birthday.
He captioned the post, “Thoughts …. It’s gonna be okay !!”
Members of the Kennedy family bid a final goodbye to Tatiana at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Manhattan on January 5 for an emotional funeral service.
Caroline Kennedy, Ed Schlossberg, Jack, and Tatiana’s sister, Rose Schlossberg, attended together, while Tatiana’s husband, George Moran, arrived alongside the couple’s children, Eddie, 4, and Josie, who turns 2 later this month.
She bravely opened up about her treatment journey, fears for her family, and the pain of preparing to leave behind her husband and two young children.
“For my whole life, I have tried to be good, to be a good student and a good sister and a good daughter, and to protect my mother and never make her upset or angry,” Tatiana wrote.
“Now I have added a new tragedy to her life, to our family’s life, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.”
She also opened up about the unwavering support she received from her family throughout her illness.
“My parents and my brother and sister [Rose], too, have been raising my children and sitting in my various hospital rooms almost every day for the last year and a half,” she shared.
“This has been a great gift,” she added, “even though I feel their pain every day.”
