A woman in Kentucky is facing charges for allegedly getting so frustrated with her wait time at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken that she pulled a firearm on an employee.

Nayda Roman, 33, was arrested on Monday, July 27, and charged with wanton endangerment in the first degree for an incident that took place in May. According to WKYT, Roman was waiting in the drive-thru line of a KFC when she began to get upset at how long it was taking them to handle her order.

She reportedly exchanged words with the staff of the restaurant before getting out of line and driving to the parking lot. There, she allegedly went into her trunk and grabbed an AR-15-style rifle and began pointing it at staff in a threatening manner before driving away without her food.

Officers were called to the restaurant, but Roman had already fled the scene. However, they were able to identify her using a combination of security surveillance video from the restaurant, body camera footage involving her vehicle as well as traffic cameras to positively identify her as the suspect in the case.

Once she was captured, the employee she pointed the gun at was reportedly able to identify her in a photo lineup, leading to the charges.

Roman was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center on the day of her arrest. It’s unclear if she’s been given bail or when her first court date is scheduled for.
