Timothee Chalamet ‘Would Be OK’ With Being Single Despite United Front With Kylie Jenner: Report

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner may not be a match after all.

Despite the reality star, 28, attending the Los Angeles premiere of her boyfriend’s upcoming film Marty Supreme, a source told the Daily Mail that their relationship has been mostly on and off for months.

“They cool down and they heat up,” one source said in the publication’s Thursday, December 11, report. “Before the premiere, they were in the cool-down cycle. They hadn’t returned each other’s stuff, they hadn’t blocked each other — they were taking a breather.”

However, they appeared as a united front when they hit the red carpet on Monday, December 8, in color-coordinated, bright-orange ensembles.

Chalamet, 29, stars as aspiring ping-pong champ Marty Mauser in the Christmas Day release, and his performance in the film has already been hailed by critics. So with Oscars on everyone’s mind, the Mail reports that the actor wants to keep his eye on the prize.

“Right now, Timothée is interested in winning [awards] and supporting his projects and becoming the actor he wants to become, and not being in a relationship would be OK with him,” a second insider told the Mail.

In fact, the Wonka star wouldn’t even address his relationship with the Kylie Cosmetics founder during his high-profile Vogue interview published last month. “I just don’t have anything to say,” he told the magazine.

According to the Mail’s second insider, “His career is what’s important right now.”

“Kylie might not like it,” they pointed out. However, the source said “it’s something she has to accept” if she wants to continue dating the actor.

The Kardashians star and the Oscar-nominated actor were first romantically linked in April 2023. They faced breakup rumors after Chalamet didn’t attend momager Kris Jenner‘s 70th birthday bash in November.
