Tiger Woods‘ Florida DUI case has landed in the rough after a judge gave prosecutors access to his prescription pill records, with sources saying the decision has put the troubled golf legend under a ton more stress and loved ones fear it will sabotage his recovery.

In mid-May, Martin County Court Judge Darren Steele told prosecutors they could subpoena Woods’ pharmacy records concerning the number of pain pills and dosages supplied to the 50-year-old five-time Masters champ from Jan. 1 to March 27, according to The New York Post..

The judge emphasized that prosecutors, law enforcement, experts and defense could see the records, but “no one else,” per the outlet.

After returning May 13 from a month’s rehab in Switzerland, Tiger, who is also dealing with galpal Vanessa Trump‘s cancer battle, has been told to “focus on sobriety and overall health, and he’s doing his level best to do just that,” says an insider.

“But it’s proving impossible with all the legal wrangling and red tape that’s being used against him … He has to be kept up to date on all this stuff, but every day seems to bring more bad news, and this latest blow has hit him hard. He says it’s an outrageous violation of his privacy as well as a clear indicator that the authorities will stop at nothing to throw the book at him.”

As Globe reported, on March 27 the golfing great rolled his Range Rover SUV while allegedly speeding and after clipping the back of a truck he was trying to pass near his home on Florida’s Jupiter Island.

Woods, who was unhurt, was cuffed after crawling out from under his vehicle and cops say they found two powerful hydrocodone pain pills in his pocket.

Asked if he’d popped any, he reportedly replied: “I take a few,” adding he’d done so that morning, say cops.

A breathalyzer test showed no signs of booze, but he refused a urinalysis.

Cops says Woods’ eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and he appeared “lethargic and slow.”

He has pleaded not guilty to DUI and refusing the urinalysis test.

Tiger has been involved in four crashes since 2009 and took a plea deal for a 2017 DUI bust.

Notes the insider, “There’s still the remote possibility of jail time, which is hanging over him like a dark cloud 24/7 even though it’s highly unlikely to happen. Tiger feels like he’s serving his dues right now but he’s not being allowed to move on because he’s being punished by the system. He’s terrified of the legal battle that awaits him. It’s causing a ton of anxiety.”
