Tiger Woods Left Rehab to Support Vanessa Trump Through Cancer Battle: Wants to ‘Be With Those He Loves’

Tiger Woods is reportedly focused on both his recovery and standing by girlfriend Vanessa Trump during her recent breast cancer diagnosis.

Per People in a Monday, May 26, report, the golf legend, 50, briefly returned home to Florida after spending several weeks at an international rehab facility following his March DUI arrest. (He has pleaded not guilty to charges of misdemeanor DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.)

According to insiders, Woods flew back to the U.S. from Switzerland earlier this month to support Vanessa, 48, after her breast cancer diagnosis and to attend her daughter Kai’s high school graduation on Friday, May 15.

“Tiger flew back to take care of some things and offer support to his girlfriend Vanessa’s health issues,” an insider told the outlet, adding that the couple “love each other and offering help when needed is an important part of their relationship.”

Another insider claimed Woods is now “doing what is necessary to get healthy and move forward in his life” after the March arrest.

“He wants to feel better and play golf. He wants to live a good life and be with those he loves,” the source added.

Vanessa publicly shared her diagnosis on Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, revealing she is currently working with doctors on a treatment plan.

The former wife of Donald Trump Jr., 48, also thanked her children and loved ones for surrounding her with support during the difficult time.

Vanessa shares five children with Donald Jr.: Kai, 19, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.
