Sharon Osbourne had a change of heart when it came to the assisted suicide pact she once made with late husband Ozzy Osbourne.

On Wednesday, December 10, the music manager, 73, appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and revealed she has opted to stay alive since the musician died for the sake of their children, Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 40.

“I would have just gone with Ozzy. Oh, yeah, definitely. I’ve done everything I wanted to do,” Sharon admitted. “But they’ve been… unbelievably, just magnificent with me, all three of them.”

The TV personality explained that after witnessing what suicide does to the children left behind, she decided that she wouldn’t go down that road.

“Years ago, when I had one of my mental breakdowns, I went into a little facility to help with my head, and there were two girls in there,” she recalled. “They didn’t know each other, but they were in there, each [of their] mothers had committed suicide.”

“I saw the state that these two young women were in and what it had done to their lives, and I thought, I will never, ever, ever do that to my kids,” Sharon added.

Back in 2007, Sharon had told the Daily Mirror that she and the Black Sabbath frontman — who she married in 1982 — had settled on assisted suicide under certain circumstances.

“Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision. We believe 100 per cent in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains,” she revealed. “If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it – we’d be off.”

“We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it,” she further noted.

As Globe previously reported, Ozzy passed away in July at 76, following a lengthy health battle with Parkinson’s disease. At the heavy metal singer’s funeral, Sharon could be seen crying and leaning on her children for support.
