The day after the vice president, 41, and wife Usha Vance, 40, welcomed their fourth baby together, the president, 80, shared the first photo of little Alec Neel Vance.
“Congratulations!” Trump captioned a photo of baby Alec with two of his older siblings on his Truth Social account on Monday, July 20. “A perfect baby boy for the wonderful Vance family.”
The Vance family had announced their baby news on Sunday, July 19, with a post shared on social media.
“We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning,” a post on Instagram read. “Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”

“The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing,” the statement continued. “We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family.”
In an interview with NBC News published in December, JD — who also shares sons Ewan, 9, and Vivek, 6, and daughter Mirabel, 4, with Usha — discussed how his three children deal with the constant attention now that he is in the White House.
“I think that there’s always a limelight on the kids, and that’s both good and bad,” JD said. “[Ewan] really doesn’t like it. He wants to have as private of a life as possible. When we come to an event in the White House and he sees the cameras, he doesn’t love it, and so we try to keep him out of that limelight as much as possible.”
“On the flip side,” JD added, “[Vivek], who’s a little bit more like me, he probably likes it too much. He loves the fact that wherever he goes, people treat him very specially. They always give him candy or cookies.”
