New details have emerged surrounding what may have led to Eminem’s ex- wife Kim Scott‘s recent trip to the hospital.
On Wednesday, July 15, TMZ obtained audio from the 911 call made from Scott’s home, which begins with a dispatcher sending first responders to a Chesterfield, Michigan, address for a reported “suicide attempt.”
During the call, an individual tells the dispatcher that his aunt cut her wrist with a knife.
The newly released audio appears to provide additional context to the July 11 emergency response.
As Globe previously reported, Scott, 51, was taken to a Michigan hospital after paramedics were dispatched to her home around 8 p.m. TMZ obtained the Chesterfield Fire/EMS records, which described the incident as an “Unconscious/Fainting” call and listed the incident type as “Hemorrhage/Laceration.”
Scott – who shares daughter Hailie, 30, with Eminem – has faced several legal issues in the past few months. In February, TMZ reported that she had crashed into a parked car and fled the scene. Authorities later arrived at her home after they witnessed her driving into her own garage door.

Scott admitted to drinking two margaritas at Chili’s before driving that night, according to a police report obtained by the outlet. When she appeared in court on May 11, she pleaded no contest to driving under the influence.
Two days later, she was arrested again for crashing into another parked vehicle while under the influence.
According to a May 19 report from TMZ, Scott’s blood alcohol content measured more than three times the legal limit at the time. The outlet, which cited the police report it obtained, also reported that officers observed her slurring her speech, having difficulty standing and smelling of alcohol.
Scott’s legal troubles continued the following month. After she failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing on June 24, a judge issued a bench warrant for her arrest, according to Page Six.
Click on Detroit later reported that Scott turned herself in two days later on June 26, which led to the warrant being withdrawn. She was released on a $500 bond with her sentence hearing reset for August 13.
