Man Fired After Confronting Dad in Women’s Restroom Won’t Face Charges

The Mississippi man who lost his job after confronting another man and his two young daughters in a women’s public bathroom isn’t in any legal trouble.

TMZ reported on Friday, June 19, that the man was not cited in the incident.

In a video shared on Tuesday, June 16, Tyler Brodsky began recording while he was helping his daughters wash their hands. An unidentified man was seen calling the police and harassing Brodsky, telling him he had no right to be in a female bathroom.

“The women’s restroom was empty, so I took them in. I’d rather do that than bring two little girls into a men’s bathroom full of grown men and dirty stalls,” Brodsky wrote in the caption of the clip. “This guy comes barging in yelling, scares my daughters, and somehow thinks THEY should’ve been in the men’s room instead.”

He ended by asking viewers to weigh in on who was in the wrong regarding the situation.

The man’s angry outburst led to him losing his job. A spokesperson for the real estate agency he worked for told TMZ that he was a licensed contractor and they had cut ties with him after seeing his interaction with Brodsky.

“The conduct depicted in the video does not reflect the values of Overstreet Properties or the standards we expect from those who represent our organization,” the company said in a statement shared via Instagram on Wednesday, June 17. “Our focus remains on providing quality service to our clients, partners, and community. The individual depicted in the video is no longer associated with Overstreet Properties.”
