Kim Kardashian opened up about a major “roadblock” she encountered while studying to become a lawyer: A back injury.
“I’ve hit a wall. I’m like absolutely gonna cry, because it’s like f**king exhausting,” Kardashian, 45, said through tears during the Thursday, December 18, episode of the family’s Hulu reality show, The Kardashians. “I threw my back out, and it’s like, every time I think I get to another step, something pulls me back.”

The All’s Fair star did not elaborate on how exactly she sustained such a debilitating injury, but added, “There’s all these f**king roadblocks.”
“I’m not a pity-party kind of girl, but last night, I was like, ‘Why the f**k is this happening?’ I can hardly walk. I can hardly f**king sit. I don’t know why I have all these back problems,” the Skims founder continued. “It’s really a lot. Now I really really get it. I had no clue it was going be this emotional.”
Kardashian, who first publicly revealed her dream of becoming a lawyer in 2019, ultimately did not pass the bar exam in July.

“Well … I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” she shared via Instagram in November. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar.”
She later added, “This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”
