Nicole Kidman ‘Doesn’t Want to Lock Herself Down’ Post-Divorce, Despite One ‘Very Persistent’ Suitor

Nicole Kidman has got her mojo back, an insider tells Globe.

The Oscar-winning actress, 59, is basking in the attention from potential suitors throwing themselves at her feet following her split from Keith Urban, the insider reveals, and rediscovering a spring in her step that’s been sorely lacking for years.

“Nicole has a completely different energy about her these days,” says the insider. “She seems lighter and more carefree.”

As Globe previously reported, sources say Kidman has begun to enjoy life now after spending so many years tying herself into knots to make Urban, 58, happy.

“No doubt all the attention coming her way from men has helped,” adds the insider. “Nicole says she wasn’t expecting them to be chasing her the way they have, [that] she’d resigned herself to that part of her life being over, but that is simply not the case.”

Back in February, TMZ reported that Kidman was being romantically pursued by Paul Salem, the Chairman of the Board of MGM Resorts International, in the wake of her divorce from Urban, with whom she shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 15.

“Paul may be the man everyone’s talking about right now, but the truth is he’s far from the only person who’s been pursuing her,” notes the insider. “She’s very selective so it’s not like she’s saying yes to every man that asks her out, but it still gives her ego a great boost.”

Salem, 62, “has been very persistent and patient, which has certainly scored him some points, but she’s still exploring what is out there,” the insider says. “She doesn’t want to lock herself down just yet.”
