Kim Kardashian is leaning into one of her most publicized setbacks.
The reality star and mogul, 45, promoted energy drink brand, UPDATE, on social media Thursday, July 23, with a TikTok ad that pokes fun at her failed bar exam attempt.
The video opens at a mock press conference, with Kardashian fielding questions about how she gets so much done in a day. “My energy is just different,” she says before sipping from a can of the product. After addressing a few commonly asked questions about her — including a long-running rumor about her figure — the ad cuts to a museum, where Kardashian is displayed inside a glass case, plowing through a mountain of tasks in front of gallery visitors.

Attorney Gloria Allred then appears in the ad, walking up to the case to ask if Kardashian ever passed the bar. “I didn’t pass the bar,” Kardashian replies. “I raised it.”
The campaign was developed by branded content studio OBB Bolded, according to TMZ.
The joke comes as Kardashian recently opened up elsewhere about the real story behind UPDATE. According to an article People published on Thursday, July 23, she said the brand reflects how she approaches her packed schedule.
“For me it comes down to being intentional about what I put into my body and my day,” she said, per the outlet. “That’s actually a big part of why UPDATE resonated with me in the first place. It helps me stay focused, balanced, and present, no matter what my schedule looks like.”
Reactions in the TikTok’s comment section were largely glowing. One fan wrote, “She’s exactly who she thinks she is,” while another commented, “Caffeine just wasn’t working but working is my thing. That line ate 👌.”
Not everyone was impressed, though. Some viewers questioned the ad’s polish, with one asking, “Why does [this] remind me of those AI interviews with celebs.”
