Kim Kardashian Blames ChatGPT For Making Her Fail Law Tests: ‘I’ll Get Mad and I’ll Yell at It’

Kim Kardashian has a “toxic” relationship with ChatGPT, even blaming the AI tool for making her fail a law test.

“I use it for legal advice, so when I am needing to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and snap it and like, put it in there,” Kardashian, 45, told her All’s Fair co-star Teyana Taylor during Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test, an interview series in which subjects are connected to the device and asked probing questions.

“So you’re cheating,” Taylor, 34, replied.

“They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests all the time,” Kardashian admitted. “And then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it and be like, ‘You made me fail. Why did you do this?’ … And it will talk back to me.”

“So you consider it a friend,” Taylor stated.

“No, I don’t consider it a friend,” Kardashian answered.

The reality star, who shares four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West, 48 — passed the California baby bar exam in 2021, after four previous attempts.

Kardashian, who admitted she does “not yet” consider herself a lawyer and does sometimes give legal advice to her inner circle, then confirmed that ChatGPT is a “frenemy.”

“But then, I will talk to it and say, ‘Hey, you’re going to make me fail — how does that make you feel, that you need to really know these answers? I’m coming to you,’” said Kardashian. “And then, it’ll say back to me, ‘This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts, so you knew the answer all along.’”

“So, she clocked you,” said Taylor, to which Kardashian agreed.

“So, technically, you and ChatGPT are friends — just toxic friends,” added Taylor.

“Toxic friends, but they need to do better because I’m leaning [into] them to really help me and ‘she’ is teaching me a life lesson and then becoming my therapist to tell me why I need to believe in myself — after they got the answer wrong!” said Kardashian.

Kardashian added that she screenshots answers from ChatGPT and sends them to her group chat: “Like, ‘Can you believe this bh is talking to me like this? This is insane.’”
