Josh Duggar has reportedly been cut off financially by his famous family as he serves his 12-year prison sentence for child pornography.
The eldest Duggar child, 37, had only 20 cents left in his prison bank and nothing in his savings in April, according to new court records obtained by The Sun.
Duggar — who is set to be released from prison on December 23, 2032 — claimed to have “no other source” of income as he is unemployed in prison.
“Movant currently performs a prison work assignment but does not receive any pay for compensation. Therefore, Movant has no employment income to report,” the documents state. “Movant currently has no personal or real property possessions in his ownership…Movant occasionally receives money from family and friends, but has not during the reporting time for this request.”

Duggar was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography, and was sentenced to 151 months in prison. He has been serving his time at FCI Seagoville in Texas since June 2022.
After multiple failed attempts to appeal the court’s ruling, the disgraced reality star is testing his luck again. This time, however, he plans to represent himself in court.
“I am currently incarcerated and proceeding pro se. I seek the Court’s assistance in appointing counsel to help evaluate my case and, if appropriate, prepare a motion to vacate, set aside, or correct my conviction and sentence,” Duggar wrote in a letter to the judge earlier this year. “During my time of incarceration, I have worked diligently to focus on education, personal growth, my faith, and to maintain strong family ties.”
He also claimed there were “significant issues related to trial errors, evidentiary rulings, and other constitutional violations that merit a thorough post-conviction review.”
