Donald Trump Slams Tucker Carlson as a ‘Low IQ Individual’ For Disagreeing With His Iran Rhetoric

President Donald Trump bashed former Fox News host and ally Tucker Carlson as a “low-IQ individual” after the broadcaster called on the administration’s staff to refuse orders to carry out a nuclear strike against Iran if the president were to ever issue them.

In a phone call with the New York Post on Tuesday, April 7, Trump, 79, spoke candidly about Carlson, 56, after he took to X to lambaste the president for his expletive-filled threat to Iran sent out on Truth Social on Easter Sunday.

“Tucker’s a low-IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” the president told the outlet. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him. I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”

In his Monday post of his Tucker Carlson Show on X, the podcaster had suggested that Trump’s heated social media rhetoric implies he’s planning to use nuclear weapons.

“If you work in the White House or the US military, now is the time to say, ‘No, absolutely not,’ And say directly to the president, ‘No,’” he said. “Those people who are in direct contact with the president need to say, ‘No, I’ll resign. I’ll do whatever I can do, legally, to stop this, because this is insane. And if given the order, I’m not carrying it out. Figure out the codes on the football yourself.’”

In his Easter Sunday Truth Social post, the commander-in-chief wrote: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F**kin’ Strait, you crazy b*stards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

In an April 7 Truth Social post, the president vowed that Iran’s “whole civilization will die tonight” unless “something revolutionarily wonderful” happens.
