Candace Owens is doubling down on her suspicions surrounding the death of Charlie Kirk — and this time, she’s zeroing in on a scheduled legal appointment.
During the Wednesday, May 20 episode of her podcastCandace, Owens, 37, claimed the late Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder was on the verge of updating his will just days before he was assassinated in September 2025.
“In the weeks following, uh, Charlie’s assassination, she shared with people that Charlie and she were due to sign updated end-of-life documents on September 15th,” Owens said during the episode, referring to Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow and current CEO of TPUSA. “Let me say that again. Charlie and her had an appointment and a date to sign updated end-of-life documents on September 15th, the Monday after he died. That is remarkable timing.”

Owens has been waging a very public battle against Erika, 37, for months, questioning everything from her background to her swift rise as Turning Point USA’s leader following Charlie’s death. The feud has played out across social media and through Owens’ multi-part docuseries The Bride of Charlie, which scrutinizes Erika’s finances and personal history, as reported by NPR.
Owens’ latest remarks came on the heels of a report from the Daily Mail that Charlie, who was 31 at the time of his death, had publicly named Erika as his organizational successor during an Aspen donor retreat months before his assassination.
The FBI and local prosecutors have maintained that the assassination was a straightforward act of political violence.

As Globe previously reported, Tyler Robinson, 23, was charged with aggravated murder and has pleaded not guilty. Authorities pointed to anti-fascist messages inscribed on bullet casings as evidence of an ideological motive and have found no connection between the shooting and any internal financial or legal matters involving the Kirk family.
