California Fishermen Get Sweet Revenge on Thieves Who Stole Their Bass Boat in Broad Daylight

Some sport fishermen got sweet revenge on a pair of brazen thieves who made off with their bass boat, which was parked in their driveway in Fresno, Calif.

Surveillance footage shows the cocky crooks — who were wearing hoodies and whose faces were concealed by masks — backing their SUV into the driveway in broad daylight, hurriedly hooking the boat’s trailer to the vehicle, then hitting the gas, according to Fox 26.

Although the residents were home at the time, they didn’t realize their orange and white Stryker Bass Boat and its trailer had been shamelessly swiped until a neighbor spotted the pirated boat just a few miles away.

The Good Samaritan contacted the boat owners and alerted them their vessel was adrift … in someone else’s driveway!

Pictures confirmed the boat was theirs.

The owners called 911, then cruised over to where their boat was “docked” to wait for the cops.

But then a lightbulb went off. They decided to hook the trailer to their car and jack the motorboat right back before police even got there, The New York Post reported.

After all, it was theirs.

The anglers cruised home with the vessel in tow and “moored” it in their driveway, teaching the culprits that crime doesn’t pay.

“We had felt so violated,” the owners told Fox 26. “But now we have the last laugh by stealing it back!”
