Woman Acquitted After Killing Boyfriend Who Tried to Sexually Assault Her 11-Year-Old Daughter
Furious mom Erica da Silveria Vicente — who castrated and killed her boyfriend for trying to rape her 11-year-old daughter — was freed when the judge dropped the murder charges.
The 42-year-old woman from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, had already spent a year in the slammer awaiting trial after admitting she killed her lover Everton Amaro de Silva.
The woman openly confessed to setting up her 47-year-old beau for slaughter after hearing her daughter screaming and catching him on top of the girl with his trousers down and his hand covering the girl’s mouth trying to sexually assault the preteen, according to local outlet Estado de Minas.
According to reports, the enraged mom spiked de Silva’s drink with the seizure medication Klonopin that causes severe drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue and impaired coordination and while he was knocked out, stabbed and then clubbed her helpless boyfriend.
A teenager who heard screams came and helped the woman carry the victim to an uninhabited area, where the furious woman cut off the man’s genitals and then set the body on fire, multiple reports said.
Cops arrested the vengeful mom after tracking a trail of blood from the body to her apartment, where they say she confessed to killing the man — saying it was to save her daughter — and even handed over the knife she used in the killing.
Prosecutors pointed to the careful planning that had gone into the killing, arguing that proved the woman was “not in a blind rage but” carried out the murder “with cold premeditation,” according to the New York Post.
After just one day of trial, the jury found her not guilty of aggravated homicide and destroying a corpse.
