“Human safari” hunters shelled out big bucks to gun down innocents during the siege of Sarajevo — and competed against each other to kill the most beautiful women, according to a new report.

That’s the stomach-turning claim of a shocking new book that cites documents given to a Bosnian intelligence officer, as reported by The Times of London.

The twisted triggermen allegedly traveled from America, Germany, England and Italy, paying around $53,000 to be smuggled into the hills above Bosnia’s capital to take potshots at civilians, including women and children.

The wealthy, warped foreigners paid up to $72,000 to shoot pregnant women and also “competed to see who could shoot the most beautiful women,” Croatian journalist Domagoj Margetic, author of the book, Pay and Shoot, told The Times.

“No one knows who’s on the list of suspects but there are rumors of big names from corporate America and even a British royal,” insists a U.S. intelligence insider.

Nedžad Ugljen

The royal “would arrive by helicopter, stay near Sarajevo and wanted to shoot at children,” members of the Bosnian Serb militia reportedly told Bosnian officer Nedzad Ugljen, who was killed in 1996, told The Times.

The appalling carnage began after the former Yugoslavia devolved into a cauldron of violence following the fall of the Soviet Union — with more than 10,000 people killed in Sarajevo by snipers and shelling between 1992 and 1996, according to The New York Post.

Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic was charged with presiding over a campaign of ethnic cleansing in certain areas of the nation, including in Sarajevo, PBS reported. He died of a heart attack in prison in 2006 while being tried for war crimes, Al Jazeera reported at the time.

Italian journalist and novelist Ezio Gavazzeni began digging into those claims in 2022. An investigation was launched after he turned his claims over to Italy’s counterterrorism prosecutor.

A U.S. intelligence insider says the identification of a rich or famous American would be “absolutely explosive!”

The source explains: “Ethnic Serbs were trying to make [Sarajevo] unlivable for the civilian populace. The goal was to cleanse it and incorporate the city into a greater Serbia — and these atrocities occurred in the name of accomplishing that goal.

“Those ghosts still haunt the people who live there, who are focused on bringing those responsible for killing their loved ones to account.”
