Tom Cruise ‘Doesn’t Trust’ Ben Affleck Reaching Out To Ana de Armas: ‘He’s Crossing the Line’ (Exclusive)

The romance between Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas continues to heat up, but a source tells Globe there’s one major obstacle in their way: Her ex Ben Affleck!

Ben and Ana, 37, who dated for about a year in 2020, “ended things as friends and vowed to stay in touch, so he’s reaching out regularly,” says the source.

The Accountant star, 53, has a similarly amicable relationship with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, notes the source, but “Tom thinks he’s crossing the line with Ana.”

While the Top Gun star, 63, believes his girlfriend has been faithful, “Tom doesn’t trust Ben and he doesn’t like the idea of him creeping around,” says the source.

“As far as Tom is concerned, Ben ought to respect boundaries and not poke his nose where it doesn’t belong.”

The A-lister is fiercely protective of the Ballerina star, adds the source. The pair, who were first linked in February, were recently spotted holding hands in Vermont, where she owns a $7 million home.

“Tom really likes it there,” an insider previously told Globe, adding that the Deeper costars are planning on moving in together.

“But he wants something grander in the U.K., maybe a country estate, something that feels expansive and permanent.”

“It’s only been a few months, but Tom moves fast,” the insider said. “He sees no reason to wait to live together, and he’s clearly convinced Ana of the same thing.”

They’re both committed, the insider revealed. “He’s totally swept her off her feet with the grand romantic gestures. She’s in awe of him. They are definitely thinking long-term.”
