Corey Harrison was in a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, earlier this year, and now the Pawn Stars alum is asking fans for help paying his medical bills.
“With his full knowledge and blessing, we’re raising emergency funds to cover more than $100,000 in medical bills and related expenses after a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, that left him fighting for his life,” Aron Chambers, one of Corey’s close friends, wrote via GoFundMe.
Aaron said that Corey “suffered devastating injuries” that included “11 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion, and internal bleeding.”
He went on to add that Corey decided to leave the hospital “against medical advice” because “the financial pressure became too much.”
Corey’s friends were hoping that, with some rest at his home in Tulum, he’d be back on his feet soon, but things didn’t go according to plan.
“Within hours, Corey was in excruciating pain,” Aron continued. “A house doctor came in to administer IV fluids and morphine treatments. Corey was incredibly hesitant to take heavy pain meds, especially after losing his brother Adam to an overdose just last year, but the agony left him with no other option.”

Adam Harrison, Corey’s younger brother and son of Rick Harrison, died of a fentanyl overdose in January 2024.
Aron said that Corey’s “oxygen levels plummeted to dangerously low levels,” and the former reality star had no choice but to turn to his fans.
“In a heartbreaking moment that shook all of us to our core, Corey looked at us and said, ‘I’m just going to die out here. I don’t have the money to keep paying these people,’” Aron wrote.
At the time of publication, the GoFundMe had raised over $5,000, and Corey gave fans an update via Aron on the site’s page on Thursday, March 5.
“Thank you so much to the people who have donated!” Corey said. “I don’t know if anyone out there has broken ribs but this is awful!! I will keep everyone updated on my condition.”
