North West Serves As Mom Kim Kardashian’s Latest Skims Model Amid Backlash for Risky Hand Piercings

North West is officially on her mom’s payroll! The tween is the newest face of Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand — just days after the reality star came under fire for her parenting choices.

North, 12, was seen in new photos modeling for the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Skims collab which launches Thursday, November 20.

In the campaign, North – who the Kardashians star shares with ex-husband Kanye West – wore long blue braids as she showed off an oversized sweatshirt and matching sweatpants from the collection.

“The cutest,” aunt Khloé Kardashian commented on the photos shared by the official Skims account.

As Globe previously reported, the reality star — who also shares daughter Chicago, as well as sons Saint and Psalm, with her ex — has been receiving major backlash for her eldest daughter’s fashion choices.

Earlier this month, North showed off new dermal piercings on both of her middle fingers. After the footage began circulating on social media, fans were left questioning Kim on why she would allow the pre-teen to get the piercings.

A source told Globe in August that the rapper is fed up with his ex for allowing North’s provocative wardrobe, claiming she’s “way too young to be parading around like this.”

However, for her part, Kim is opting to support North embracing her personal style.

“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kardashian remarked during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”
