Melania Trump Admits President Donald Trump ‘Sometimes Doesn’t Want to Hear’ Her Honest Feedback

Melania Trump says she does not hold back when her husband, President Donald Trump, asks what she thinks, even if he’s not always eager to hear her answer.

The first lady, 56, discussed the dynamic during a Wednesday, September 23, appearance on Fox & Friends, where she was asked what she thought of her husband’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York the previous day.

“I told him he had [a] great delivery, he did very well. And a great speech,” Melania said.

She then made clear that her feedback is not always limited to praise.

“So I tell him the truth. Sometimes he doesn’t want to hear it, what I tell him, but that’s okay. I always say the truth,” she said.

Melania also offered her view of how the commander in chief, 80, is handling his second term in office.

“He’s very focused. He has a lot on his plate. It’s very different, what’s going on around the world now. But I think he’s doing the best that he can,” she said.

“He works nonstop. He has the most energy than anybody. He’s from morning [until] evening nonstop working,” the former model added.

Melania appeared on the program while promoting Imperia, a new initiative focused on women in business, along with her Fostering the Future Together initiative.

Fox News described Imperia as a network aimed at expanding women’s economic leadership.
