Jordan James Parke, the social media influencer known as the “Lip King” who died last week after authorities believe he underwent another cosmetic procedure, was warned about his addiction to plastic surgery.
In a 2016 episode of the reality show Botched that resurfaced following his February 18 death, the British social media star met with doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif, who both told Parke to proceed with caution when it came to more surgeries.
Before Dubrow, 67, and Nassif, 63, examined Parke’s lips, the internet personality admitted that he is addicted to getting work done. He said that he wanted his lips to be as big as they possibly could be and that he would sometimes wake up with filler leaking out of them.
“You know that this can cause a horrible infection,” Dr. Nassif told him. “You’re asking for a horrible complication.”
When the doctors examined Parke’s lips, they told him he had hyperemia, or overgrown blood vessels.

“Your lips are maybe not as happy as you might think they are,” Dr. Dubrow told Parke, adding in a confessional: “It’s all fun and games until your lips fall off, and then you’ve got a major irreversible problem.”
“We know you like doing this, and you’re probably not gonna stop,” Dr. Nassif said. “If something does happen, remember we don’t condone this, we don’t like this, but we’re here for you if something happens.”
According to a statement from the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to Lincoln Plaza in Canary Wharf following reports of an unconscious 34-year-old man, who was then pronounced dead at the scene.
Police told People, “It is suggested that the victim may have undergone a cosmetic procedure prior to his death, the cause of which is unknown.”
The outlet reported that a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on February 20 on suspicion of manslaughter. They have since posted bail and were released.
Prior to his death, Parke had reportedly spent over $150,000 on cosmetic procedures.
His sister, Sharnelle Parke, mourned his death on Instagram, writing, “Our beautiful, funny most amazing Jordan James Parke passed away on Wednesday the 18th of February 2026. We as a family are numb, shocked and heartbroken.”
