Kim Kardashian ‘Hates the Idea of’ Kylie Jenner ‘Getting Married’ Before Her: ‘It Wouldn’t Be Right’

Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner compete over everything, a source tells Globe, so it’s no surprise that the two sisters are now trying to beat each other to the altar.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, has been dating Timothée Chalamet since 2023 while the Skims founder, 45, only recently went public with Lewis Hamilton.

“In fairness to Kylie, this is something she’s been trying to make happen for the last year,” reveals the source, “so it’s not as though she just wants to get married as a way to outdo Kim.”

Jenner is “madly in love” with the two-time Oscar-nominated actor, 30, the source shares, “and says all the time that he’s her soulmate.”

Kardashian’s motivation for wanting to sprint down the aisle with the British race car driver, 41, is “a lot murkier,” Globe‘s source admits.

“She hardly knows Lewis at this point. It’s not even been six months,” notes the source. “Yes, they have a great connection and crazy chemistry, but marrying him this quickly would be a huge gamble.”

The three-time divorcee, who was previously wed to music producer Damon Thomas, former NBA player Kris Humphries and rapper Kanye West, “doesn’t seem to care though,” the source adds.

“All she cares about is her image. She hates the idea of Kylie getting married while she’s still on the shelf,” says the source. “This is not some big hidden agenda on her part, either. She openly talks about how Kylie can’t get married before she does, that it wouldn’t be right.”
