Kate Hudson shared on Instagram a tender moment with music legend Neil Diamond.

The photos show the pair visiting together with Hudson, 46, wearing a flowing black maxi dress with thin straps and cozy slip-on shoes. Diamond, 84, looks equally at ease in gray joggers, long-sleeve shirt, and a baseball cap.

Actress and singer Rita Wilson simply wrote, “Hero!!!!”

Hudson has been promoting her new film Song Sung Blue, a biopic about a Neil Diamond tribute band that is based on a 2008 documentary. The film also stars Hugh Jackman, Ella Anderson and Jim Belushi.
