Justin and Hailey Bieber Rely on Stephen Baldwin as Their ‘Guiding Light’ in Marriage and Parenthood

Hailey Bieber has had a rollercoaster relationship with her dad, Stephen Baldwin, but they’re back on great terms as of late — and a source tells Globe that friends are crediting his positive influence as a key factor in helping her and husband Justin Bieber turn their troubles around.

“After all the therapy and all the spiritual and professional searching that came with becoming parents for the first time, Justin and Hailey still rely on Stephen as a guiding light in their marriage and their plans to have a much bigger family than they do now,” the source says of the couple, who share 1-year-old son Jack. “They want more kids, and they look at Stephen, who is a very happy person with a great marriage to Hailey’s mom, as a role model.”

The source adds that they want Baldwin, 59, “to have a huge role in the life of their family.”

“You have to remember how frightening becoming parents was for Justin and Hailey,” the source continues. “They looked for professional help for that, and they still have a staff around them a lot of the time, but nobody can replace what Stephen has done as far as giving Justin confidence as a father and confidence in his and Hailey’s faith.”

The Rhode founder recently admitted she is “super not ashamed” to have “full-time help” when it comes to her son, noting during her appearance on the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast: “He’s always with his family.”

“To both of them, the example Stephen has set looms large, and that starts with their relationship with God,” the source adds. “The family that prays together, stays together, and in that family, Stephen is the spiritual leader and Justin would be lost without his constant influence.”
