Joe Jonas Sets the Record Straight on Cocaine Use Following Viral Video of Him Wiping Nose During Concert

Joe Jonas is denying ever using cocaine.

The “Cake by the Ocean” singer, 36, sat down with his brothers Nick and Kevin for an interview with Esquire, published Monday, October 20, and addressed the rumors about him doing drugs.

“I’ve never touched cocaine in my life,” he told the outlet, “but if I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.”

Allegations that the former Disney star used cocaine began after a video taken by a concertgoer went viral on TikTok, which showed Joe looking in a mirror, wiping his nose with a black cloth, and using his finger to quickly pick his nose mid-show on the Jonas Brothers’ JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.

Social media users jumped to the comment section, accusing the singer of doing cocaine, as the stimulant drug is often snorted through the nose.

However, People reported that Joe — who told Esquire he is “extremely online” — left a comment on the video, writing, “lol you never had a booger?”

Also during his interview with Esquire, Joe — who was previously married to Sophie Turner from 2019 to 2024 — shared an update on his dating life.

“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” he explained.

The musician insisted that he’s not on any dating apps, but noted, “I guess Instagram and TikTok are apps, and I’ve met people that way.”
