It’s been nearly a year since Deborra-Lee Furness’s divorce from Hugh Jackman was finalized—but it appears she still has something to say about her ex-husband. Last month, Furness, 70, left a comment on an Instagram post that can only be interpreted as a jab at the Song Sung Blue actor, 57, who is now dating his Music Man costar Sutton Foster.
The post in question was a cheeky video shared by Kerry Washington to promote her Apple TV show Imperfect Women. In the video, Washington, 49, sits next to her co-stars Kate Mara and Joel Kinnaman, who play a husband and wife on the show. “You guys love each other, huh?” mouths Washington to a voice-over. “That’s sweet. That will go away. You cannot trust anybody. Ever.”

In the caption, Washington reiterated the sentiment, writing, “Imperfect Women episode 5 is out NOW. And you cannot trust ANYBODY…EVER.”
As the Daily Mailreported, Furness took to the comment section and wrote: “HILARIOUS .,,, so true.”
The Australia native was married to Jackman for 27 years before they announced their separation in 2023. Though Jackman and Foster, 51, did not publicly confirm their relationship until January of 2025, rumors of infidelity have swirled around the pair. And when Furness officially filed for divorce from the Deadpool & Wolverine star in May of 2025, she released a statement alluding to as much.
“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she said. “It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us. This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage.”
