Donald Trump Seemingly Goes Tan-Free in New Photo With Former British Prime Minister

President Donald Trump is known for his signature tan but it appears that he opted out of wearing his usual bronzer in recent photos shared by former British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

On Sunday, February 15, Truss, 50, posted a picture of herself and Trump, 79, on X.

“Right about everything,” she captioned the image.

However, Trump’s skin was noticeably paler than usual and the only makeup on his body seemed to be on his hand. In the image, the former reality TV star was giving a thumbs up, but a portion of the back of his hand appeared smoother than the rest.

While Trump himself has never confirmed whether he uses a self-tanner, he did address a photo showing a striking difference in skin tone near his hairline.

“More Fake News. This was photoshopped, obviously, but the wind was strong and the hair looks good? Anything to demean!” he wrote above the since-deleted picture via X on February 8, 2020.

In April 2020, an article in the National Library of Medicine’s database “estimated Trump’s skin colour from 70 internet images and also from the ‘twitter tan line’ image.”

His skin tone was then compared to two datasets of skin color. One was the “the range of skin tans that occur naturally in the Caucasian population” and the other was the “the range of skin colors brought about by a sunless tan.” The study found that Trump’s skin tone landed “firmly within the gamut of a sunless skin tan.”
