The musical Cats ran on Broadway for 18 long years — but the 2019 movie adaptation slunk away from view almost immediately after vicious reviews clawed it to bits and made audiences allergic to it! Such big names as Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Judi Dench and Jennifer Hudson got stuck up a tree playing furballs in this combo of live action, animation and such awful CGI effects that the movie had to be retooled after opening in wide release — a startling Hail Mary move that was called “unheard of!”
