Caitlyn Jenner Demands $400k From Late Friend Sophia Hutchins’ Estate

Caitlyn Jenner is grieving over the death of her dear friend Sophia Hutchins last year, but she’s also mourning the loss of nearly $500,000.

Jenner, 76, filed a creditor’s claim against Hutchins‘ estate, claiming that Hutchins amassed a total of $439,095.88 in credit card charges, cash advances, shopping sprees and legal fees before she died.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Hutchins spent more than $273,000 on online shopping sprees using Jenner’s credit cards. Hutchins also allegedly owed her portion of legal fees for an attorney the two retained, adding more than $133,000 to her debt.

The claim, which was originally filed in November, also included $16,000 in debit card charges and $7,000 in cash advances.

Last month, Hutchins’ estate allowed the claim in the amount Jenner requested, TMZ reported.

As Globe previously reported, Hutchins died in July 2025 in an ATV accident near Jenner’s Malibu home.

She was reportedly driving an ATV, when she hit the bumper of another vehicle and lost control, sending her plunging 350 feet down a ravine.

“Recently, my good friend Sophia passed away in a tragic accident,” Jenner said during an interview with Fox News in August. “For the last seven weeks, I’ve been dealing with death, and it’s so difficult.”

Hutchins was just 29 years old.
