Bill Gates Set to Testify in Front of House Oversight Committee Amid Jeffrey Epstein Probe

Billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates will testify in front of the House Oversight Committee as part of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices.

Gates, 70, who was named in the Department of Justice’s Epstein files, will “sit for a transcribed interview June 10,” according to Politico.

“While he never witnessed or participated in any of Epstein’s illegal conduct, he is looking forward to answering all the committee’s questions to support their important work,” a spokesperson for Gates told the outlet.

Gates previously revealed his relationship with the convicted sex offender was strictly professional, telling PBS that he was under the impression Epstein would help him raise funds.

“Those meetings were a mistake,” Gates said during a 2021 interview with PBS NewsHour.

His ex-wife, Melinda Gates, has been vocal about her distaste for the relationship.

“I wanted to see who this man was,” she told CBS in 2022 of her one meeting with Epstein. “I regretted it from the second I stepped in the door. He was abhorrent, he was evil personified. I had nightmares about it afterwards.”

Gates is the latest in a list of high-profile Epstein associates who are set to be grilled about their connection to the late financier.

Bill and Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Bill Barr and Ghislaine Maxwell have already been questioned.
