Former Attorney General Pam Bondi won’t be required to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee in the JeffreyEpstein probe, according to a committee spokesperson.
“The Department of Justice has stated Pam Bondi will not appear on April 14 for a deposition since she is no longer Attorney General and was subpoenaed in her capacity as Attorney General,” reporter Nicholas Wushared on X on Wednesday, April 8. “The Committee will contact Pam Bondi’s personal counsel to discuss next steps regarding scheduling her deposition.”
The Department of Justice, under Bondi — who served as Attorney General under President Donald Trump until she was ousted last week — was required to release files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein after the Epstein Files Transparency Act was signed into law in November.
After allegedly failing to comply with the law, a subpoena was issued to force Bondi, 60, to testify.

And I’d like to ask questions about that in our deposition.”
