An Indiana woman is behind bars after drunkenly joyriding and doing donuts on a courthouse lawn.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook on Tuesday, October 7, to share a video of a silver Chevy Impala driving on the lawn of the community’s courthouse. The driver largely remained on the grass as she narrowly whipped around trees and the cement walkway at the center of the lawn.
However, at times she veered onto the sidewalk as well as the nearby road. Luckily, no pedestrians were seen in the video. As she continued to dangerously whip the car in all directions, large dirt clouds trailed her as she ruined the lawn.

According to the Sheriff’s office, the unnamed driver was a 67-year-old woman who they allege had “too many margaritas at dinner” and drove while intoxicated and somehow found her way to the courthouse. It’s unclear if she had a grievance with the local court or if it was by coincidence that she was there.
Police say she was taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, “along with numerous other charges.”
“We encourage everyone to enjoy themselves responsibly and always make arrangements for a safe ride home if you’ve been drinking,” the statement from the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office concludes.
