Tiger Woods‘ girlfriend Vanessa Trump is standing by him in his darkest hours.
As Globe previously reported, Woods, 50, is seeking “comprehensive inpatient treatment” in Switzerland following a rollover crash and arrest for DUI in March. (He pleaded not guilty.)
“Tiger needed to do intensive therapy, and his girlfriend Vanessa has been in favor of it,” a source told People in a story published on Sunday, April 19. “She still supports this and supports him. She loves him and knows that private treatment was necessary.”
The 48-year-old former model, who is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., 48, “suffered through some rough spots but has always been on his side even when she worried about him and softly mentioned that,” added the source.
Another source told People: “They communicate while he is away and both know it’s important to do so.”
Trump’s daughter, Kai Trump, 18, also recently showed her support for Woods.
As Globepreviously reported, the University of Miami golf recruit, posted a video on Instagram of herself wearing a white sweatshirt with a tiger graphic from the legendary golfer’s clothing brand Sun Day Red.
The style Kai is wearing appears to be the Icon Chain Stitch Hoodie, and according to the website, “Tiger loves this sweatshirt and has been sighted often wearing it.”
Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Globe that Vanessa has been a “huge help” to Woods following his rollover crash.

But the source also pointed out: “She can’t solve everything. It’s clear he’s in serious danger both physically and mentally. He’s managed to hide it all quite well, but there have certainly been worrying signs.
“The problem is no one has been able to step in and help because he’s such a proud guy,” added Globe‘s source. “He wasn’t ready to admit there were any issues.”
Woods was reportedly found with opioids on him following his rollover incident, and those close to the star are said to be concerned about the 15-time major champion.
The source told Globe: “Everyone’s finally seeing just how bad things have gotten for Tiger,” adding that the pro golfer has been “struggling physically and mentally ever since he had that terrible car accident five years ago.”
Woods — who was previously arrested in 2017 for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs — was also involved in a car crash in 2021.
While no charges were filed that year, Woods sustained multiple leg injuries and underwent surgery.
