Tom Cruise and Ana De Armas Split After Eight Months: They’re ‘Better Off’ As Friends
Tom Cruise’s mission to marry Ana de Armas turned out to be impossible, according to The Sun.
“Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course,” a source told the outlet of the pair, in a story published on Wednesday, October 15.
“They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore,” the source continued of the pair, who were first linked in February, adding that “the spark has gone” and they’ve realized they’re “better off as mates.”
As Globe reported on Tuesday, September 30, the Knives Out actress, 37, hadn’t been spotted with the Mission: Impossible star, 63, since July because she needed “space” from her new beau, who “moves fast,” a source revealed.
In September, the Cuban-born star enjoyed a vacation in Puerto Rico — where she caught a Bad Bunny concert — before heading to Paris for Fashion Week.
“It’s clear she’s enjoying her independence,” the source told the Globe, adding that despite his earlier hopes to make her wife No. 4, Cruise realized “she was slipping through his fingers. People are predicting that this could be the end.”
