Earlier this week, the comedian, 64, posted a TikTok video explaining she previously supported the politician, 45.
“I know that guy … Like, spoke to him on the phone a couple times, donated money to him, I believe,” she remarked. “Talked about him in some public appearances years ago about how I believed in him, and his cute little family and two kids, and standing up to all those people when he, you know, berates them for their moralist behavior.”
“And then all this comes out about him, and it’s heartbreaking to me, you know?” she stated.

The former talk show host said she “wrote him a little message,” expressing her disappointment.
“I said, ‘You know, Bill Clinton broke my heart, and now you did too,'” she admitted, seemingly referring to the sexual harassment suit that was brought against Clinton, 79, by Paula Jones in 1994 and his affair with Monica Lewinsky, which came to light in 1998.
“You know the conclusion I’ve come to? Men suck,” O’Donnell continued. “The way that they are physiologically, they can’t sort of control their sexual urges.”
“You know it teaches you not to believe in anyone. For me, that’s what it does for me. I don’t believe in anyone,” she further shared. “People have images, and they sell themselves as one thing, but they’re not that thing. They have complications like all humans do, right? They have addictions, they have impulses, they have frontal lobe disorder, they have narcissism, they have a spoiled, privileged upbringing that warps their perspective.”

As Globe previously reported, allegations against Swalwell began at the end of March, when influencer Cheyenne Hunt posted an Instagram video featuring a message from Annika Albrecht — who remained anonymous at the time — about her experience with the former congressman.
On April 10, the San Francisco Chronicle published a report in which a woman accused Swalwell of sexually assaulting her while she was too intoxicated to consent.
Multiple other women have come out with stories of sexual harassment and assault at the hands of Swalwell, including Lonna Drewes, who gave a press conference on Tuesday, April 14, alleging that he “raped me and he choked me.”
Swalwell withdrew from the California governor’s race and resigned from Congress on Monday, April 13, but has denied all the allegations against him.
