Priscilla Presley Talks Arguments With Late Daughter Lisa Marie: ‘Sometimes You Want to Choke Them’

Nearly three years after Lisa Marie Presley’s death, her mother, Priscilla, often reflects on their times together — both good and bad.

“It’s difficult to talk about,” the Dallas alum, 80, told fans at the Pottstown, Pennsylvania, stop on her Priscilla Presley Talk Tour on Sunday, December 7.

“I miss our calls,” she continued. “I miss her arguments, sometimes you want to choke them! I do miss her every day.”

Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023, and died later that day. The cause of death was later determined to be from a small bowel obstruction, which was a complication from bariatric surgery. She was 54.

“It was the second saddest day of my life, other than losing Elvis,” Priscilla, whose rock legend ex-husband died in 1977, told People earlier this year. “It took a long time to come to terms with the fact that Lisa was gone.”

As Globe previously reported, the Naked Gun star’s former business partners have accused her of hastily pulling the plug on her daughter as part of a $50 million breach of contract lawsuit.

Priscilla’s attorney Marty Singer slammed the allegations as “shameful, ridiculous, salacious and meritless,” and insiders told Globe they fear the legal drama has taken a devastating toll.

“Priscilla is in pieces over this,” one insider revealed. “The stress is terrible for her health.”
